For the last forty years Patrick Woodroffe, OBE, RDI has produced the lighting designs for a who’s who of well-known performers, artists and events around the world including The Rolling Stones, Adel, The London Olympics, V&A, and the English National Ballet.
His work has covered the fields of contemporary and classical music, opera and musical theatre, film and TV, as well as architecture and site–specific installations. He has also played an intrinsic role in the success of lighting as both a craft and a business as it has blossomed from a garage industry in the mid Seventies to the enormously successful and important position it holds today.
